On Friday, 4 September 2026, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, visited the Hellenic Army War College, accompanied by the Army Inspector General, Lieutenant General Papastathopoulos Stavros, the Commanding General of the Supreme Military Command of Epirus and Macedonia, Lieutenant General Bountliakis Grigorios, and the Commanding General of the Sustainment Division, Major General Tselekidis Dimitrios.
During the visit, he was briefed on the College’s mission, actions, and current programmes, as well as the progress of the training of the 15th Training Class.
The Chief addressed the students, congratulated the College instructors
for their work, and provided guidelines for the improvement of the training
provided, within the framework of the Hellenic Army General Staff’s
guidelines.
