The Directorate of Research and Evaluation of Military Thinking (DREMT) monitors, studies and researches the evolution of war means and ideas as well as their effect to the organization and use of troops, in order to submit proposals for the formation of war doctrines, rules and methodologies.
More specifically:
It studies and recommends the implementation of appropriate training methods in the Academy.
It studies and researches issues related to the formation of modern Operational Doctrine, based on the noted developments and differences in matters of organization, training and tactics.
Searches, gathers and processes information on the latest Military state of the art developments and informs the Academy accordingly.
Based on the observed developments and the conclusions from the training, it prepares studies for the formulation of proposals for the revision or drafting of new regulations and submits them accordingly.
It is responsible for the organization of the library, monitors its operation and ensures its enrichment with new books, military magazines, etc., domestic and foreign, as well as its cooperation with other libraries.
