Joint Training Of French And Greek Officers At The French Army General Staff College (Ecole D’etat Major) In Saumur, France, Within The Framework Of “Cpx (Command Post Exercise) Achille-26″

The Hellenic Army War College (HAWC) participated with a delegation of 5 officers (1 Instructor and 4 Students of the 14^th Training Serries), from 25 Jun to 02 Jul 26, at a co-training with the students from the Ecole de Guerre Terre (EdG-T) and the Ecole d’Etat Major (EEM), focusing on the French Land Tactical Planning Process (MEDOT/ MAJOR EFFECT METHOD) during the conduct of tactical operations, thereby enhancing interoperability and cooperation in a multinational environment. The Greek delegation took part at the conducting phase of «CPX ACHILLE -26»

In the context of the above training, on 1st Jul 26, the Commander of the HAWC Brigadier General Dimitrios Xogiannis as well as the Commander of Army Centre for Higher Military Education of French Army (CEMS-T) Brigadier General Emmanuel Phelut, visited, the premises of “Ecole d’Etat Major” at Saumur (France). The 2 commanders received by the Commander of “Ecole de Guerre Terre” Colonel Dmien Dreo, who informed them regarding the tactical scenario and the way the CPX organized, as well as escorted them to the respective facilities in which the exercise took place.
